No baa... I do not like Congress or Gandhi family at all.

But what BJP is doing these days is twisting, tweaking and distorting the historical facts and propagating them for their own benefit.

Most of the points raised were related to 1. Kashmir Dispute and 2. Problems with China

Rest of them all crap and have no proper basis.

Now coming to (1) and (2) above, we have discussed many times on AFDB that judging the actions/corrections undertook by leaders in History SHOULD not be done from the View Point of people in 2023 when majority of people are living in a world dominated by YouTube/FaceBook/WA/Insta/Telegram.

In fact Kashmir & China problems have stemmed from very common base problems which India was facing those days:

1. Just got independence in 1947, with only 10% able to afford square meals a day, you cannot engage your country or people in new wars, especially with two neighbours. So I do not see too much wrong in compromising with Pakistan or China on what ever things that would have had negative impact on India.

2. A country that was facing multi-dimensional poverty cannot engage in investment on Army, Missiles and Nuclear weapons. Pakistan is a modern day example what happens if you do it.

3. Being ruled by foreign powers for over 1000 years, India did not believe USA (Western Block) as the very country which made India poor, the UK, was part of Western Bloc, NATO and many other defense agreements.

4. It took a while even to believe USSR, as it was also a Western country geographically.

5. Coming to the appeasement of Muslims, yes it was done to help them because for most known history of India, the ruling elite Kshatriyas and their chamchas Bapans& Vysyas who form less than 5% of population dominated everything..I do not need to list them here. So nearly 70% of people were marginalised. Nehru tried to reduce the hatred Hindus developed against muslims who were already in bad shape, but in larger numbers by 1947.

N.B: I know many people who are writing everything against Gandhi family and Nehru family are Bapans. Ask them ow many of Bapans are working in Army??
