Define ADHD,

Are you guys comparing your Kid's progress with other kids and determining or there is any specific pattern which you observed ?

For my nephew ADHD ante hyper activity,Not able to sit focused for more than 10mins, Not interested in outdoor games, running in malls, grocery stores etc.Neurologist did diagnosis as ADHD and suggested some stimulants and non-stimulants like Intuniv, Ritalin,Adderal. But there are lot of side effects with these medications

running in  malls ante... explain more like he runs without fear of getting lost or doesn't care he gets lost? Is yes then I guess it is not just ADHD may be more than that for a 7 year old to run like that.

ADHD kids do have sense of social activity skills .

Comparing kids' progress can be tricky, as every child is unique. Specific patterns and behaviors often help diagnose ADHD, like the ones you mentioned. It's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation.Medications like Intuniv, Ritalin, and Adderall can have side effects, but they can also be effective in managing ADHD symptoms. It's essential to discuss these concerns with your nephew's doctor to find the best approach. You might find this link helpful: https://www.mentalhealth.com/medication/sertraline-zoloft. It offers information on medications like Sertraline (Zoloft) that can be relevant to mental health discussions.
