Difficult to find an employer now if you are non IT (not a good time even for IT)..  better option for you is to switch to EAD..

Sorry to hear bro Think June 30 from that day 60 days bro (some attorneys saying ifffy on the severance as that doenst come as regular pay check) you can be on gc ead and as your 485 is pending you are never on out of status

If yiu get job within 60 days you can be on h1b else gc ead better option even if use gc ead you can later come on h1 but stamping Katha untadi
