Parents Visa Cancelled for overstay

If that were the case, how can they release guidance recently encouraging laid off H1B employees to move to B1/B2 visa while they search for a new job? Aren't they staying and not visiting?

Thread starter. There is an email hotline for US embassy in India. They respond very promptly and round the clock. It reaches embassy officials and not USTravelDocs (India) people, who are unprofessional and cold. Embassy people respond to the point. Try it even though the email is catered for US citizens/permanent residents.

B1b2 is always with a purpose.

 

B2 has business travel as purpose. You can justify it with job search and interviews or wrapping up your properties in US

when I last applied for a visitor visa (recent months), I noticed they had three options - B1 visa, B2 visa, and B1/B2 visa. Contrary to what you stated, B1 is for business purpose. B2 is for tourism purpose. And these terms are always debatable. B1/B2 visa vunte, mana ishtam kada. They just put a requirement that we cannot stay more than 183 days. Under normal conditions, we are allowed to stay until the 183rd day. So, all this is nonsense ani naa opinion. There might be more to the story.

Same happened to my Father in law. 2 Days over stay. I requested our AP IT minister. He referred us to APNRTS along with his message on a letter head. Issue resolved in 2 days.

In 2019, maa mother 195 days ki return ayyaru as I had to rebook for a travel companion who was traveling 2 weeks later.  How am I supposed to check and make sure that visa isn't cancelled. Is there a way to check the current status online? Or the only option is to mail embassy in India or call airlines customer service? (if so, please help with the airlines name) @naidubava @JaiBalayyaaa @Spartan @Jatka Bandi @kiran1012

Yes , write an email to hyd consulate for visa status check .

Book a ticket and wait until 1 day before travel. You will see same message. “Uscis purposefully cancel visa 1 day before” to teach a lesson to us.

at least in the DHS/CBP system, they will know the reason for overstay.

6 montha or 180 days or until i-94 valid date?
