Anybody been to Mexico on H1b without stamping recently? Please share your experiences vayyas. Is it easy? Thanks in advance

For h1 yes without stamping also you can go that's what I heard.

 

Actually while you boarding the there is no typical immigration check. Whomever validate your work visa also looks like they are cruise staff.

 

In my research EAD scenario is very complex, comparing to just approved I797. So you I made it with EAD.

 

For backup bring paycheck employer reference letter address proof to convince them in worredt case

Ma friends recently Cancun vellaru, H1 approved (I797A) but no stamping in their passport. Risk enduku ani they took Mexico visit visa (2-3 hours work max). 797 tho kuda enter avachu anta but they had conflicting answers on that so endku gola ani he took visit visa.

Mexico visit visa tho enter ayaru. Return to US automatic revalidation tho vachesaru POE lo they asked for 797 and they knew what automatic revalidation is so no questions on visa or anything.

u can go but u would need mexican visa, usa visa unte mexico visa avasaram undadu.. usa visa needed to enter mexico ..if not apply mexico visitor visa not that hard.. to enter back usa u can use AVR... for canada once i did AVR without any issues border crossing time lo new i94 ichadu as per latest i797..that time my usa visa is expired but i had canadian visitor visa..

part of NAFTA  or some agreement anna(USA CANADA MEXICO only).. india is not part of  NAFTA..

If it's cruise. While returning there is no immigration point I went through.

 

Only while boarding cruise in usa there is ID and valid verification
