African Americans deserve Affirmative action. Not only are they racial minorities but also went through hell because of slavery, segregation. Unless African Americans r uplifted from poverty, they will be victims of crime. One of the best ways to beat poverty is Education. If they are forced away from education, crime increases due to lack of opportunities. America can't develop as a society unless African Americans r made to fully integrate as tax paying, educated, law abiding citizens. One of the ways to achieve that is by affirmative action.
