People from IIT have been doing well all over the world. Ranking seems very low and IITs are deemed esteem in USA too.

IIT is valued because of its low acceptance rate in admissions.

However most famous IIT alumni prospered only after they pursued their higher education at US or Europe based universities.

Indian Education has to be revamped completed, courses revisited, etc. Most importantly schools/colleges/universities need to have good space/parks/amenities to make them look world class.

Our subjective knowledge is good. Need amenities where students can put these to test. Our country will flourish.

I can only dream. Hopefully its a reality in future.

IITs are not Universities, they are technical institutes, similar to NITs.

I would have agreed with your point few years ago. Just last 8-10 years lo gap has widened very much. Advancements in stem fields are happening at a very rapid face. India is far behind in comparison to big players.

Other than IT, Indians lack skills at almost everything.

I’m not talking about folks who are working in vomerica or Europe.

“Innovation” is nil in India. We lack novelty at all levels of education. We make excellent resource when we are trained. But thats not good enough.

Our math is very strong than people from most countries.

However, We need amenities to put subject knowledge to test (Practical's).

Innovation Ki kavalsindi funding, which only big corporates or rich governments can contribute both of which are still in very early stage.

Indian corporations are still a decade behind in allocating finance to innovation, they are in revenue generation stage. Another decade at least…India at 75 is where America was at 150’s, the hunger to make more and more is still at an early stage. It will take some time but India at 100 will be a complete difference picture.
