Aithe majority of wifes dont think like that? not sure not including husband in beneficiary is not common.

By default it's 100% to spouse.

If spouse is also is not there, then 100% kids.

I did a trust and all my financial accounts are linked to it. 100% to wife and kids, then parents, then sister and family.. in that order.
