adi loophole vadukovalani kontunnaru parents name meeda, as you can still inherit the agricultural land as NRI

but there is a catch, after inheriting you cannot give or sell it to your kids or persons who are US citizens or NRIs. You should sell it to Indian Citizen only.

so whoever is buying now on parents name have two issues

siblings making a claim

or shoild sell that land in thwir lifetime only

@Konebhar6

Thanks. I hope the dual citizenship bill passes in my lifetime and make these things easy.

I learnt something today. I was always of view that NRIs with indian passport could buy. Just read on google that they cannot.

However, most people buy agricultural lands on their parents name and transfer to them later. Its complicating things in my opinion as other siblings could claim for a share. Need to be careful.

I was also under same impression.

prices have almost reached unreasonable levels in hyd

I don't think they will fall but multiple times ayye chances are less in near future, 3x-5x ayye chances are rare with current prices in the next few years, however they will still increase though until they reach even more ridiculous black money levels..

some apts with out basic wood work, appliances, lack of proper ventilation getting sold for > 3 cr in some areas, villas aithe 6cr seem to be the avg

If someone is making 100k here, 600k house kontara? mostly no because its 6x the income

India lo how many folks make > 1cr ? 6 cr+ villas all seem to be black money magnets as normal folks can not afford them

surprise enti ante, this seem to get you a half decent villa some where in bum fck outskirts of hyd, ikkade konachu aa money tho as thats like 700k+ and you might even get a better looking home than in India with appliances

property appreciation can be offset with dollar vs rupee depreciation, taxes, difficulty in getting the money back etc

India lo settle avutha ante definitely try to invest for future but ikkada unte it may not make financial sense as you think it would

calculate all the numbers, returns, rupee depreciation and taxes and then take a decision

2x-3x returns antu people forget about all these, also the money you invest here you can see and use it in your lifetime, will you be able to do it in India as well? think about it

nuuvu tinaka nee kids tinaka, whats the use

Discussion is about investing homes for folks with  GC PD below 2015 and if they are diversifying the investments in Hyderabad to hedge edge case scenarios .  We are not discussing if 100k salaried folks can afford buying homes in Hyderabad.
