Cant believe this story, poor little kid..!!

Message from his mother:

I am writing this with a heavy heart, seeking your support and assistance during this difficult time. My name is Indrani Kundu, and I am the mother of Sanmay, an adorable, affectionate, and playful 2-year and 9-month-old boy. In 2020, my husband and I relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, along with our son.

Sanmay has always been a joyous and inquisitive child, spreading happiness to everyone he encounters. His vibrant personality has made him the most popular kid in our neighborhood. With an insatiable curiosity about the world, he eagerly seeks knowledge, always brimming with questions. In the hopes of fostering his learning and social development, we enrolled him in daycare when he turned two and a half.

May 18, 2023, will forever be etched in our memories as the worst day of our lives. On that day, Sanmay became the victim of severe and traumatic abuse by a staff member at the daycare, resulting in unimaginable consequences. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and extensive damage to his ribs, pancreas, stomach, gallbladder, bile duct, and small intestine.

To save his life, Sanmay underwent numerous surgeries, including a craniectomy to relieve brain swelling caused by the inflicted injuries. Additionally, a portion of his damaged pancreas had to be removed. The doctors compared the severity of his injuries to those seen in a deadly car accident. Since then, our brave little Sanmay has been fighting tirelessly for his life. He spent a week on life support, miraculously defying the odds and pulling through. Currently, he is undergoing therapy and rehabilitation, displaying remarkable strength despite the physical pain and post-traumatic stress disorder he endures.

Sadly, due to the extensive brain damage he sustained, Sanmay now experiences paralysis on the left side of his body and has completely lost vision in his left eye. These disabilities will persist for the rest of his life. He now requires long-term supplementation with essential digestive enzymes and hormones due to the damage inflicted on his pancreas.
Although Sanmay has responded well to treatment thus far, his recovery will be a prolonged journey. The emotional toll this daycare abuse has inflicted on our family is immeasurable. Our son will never be the same again. In the coming months, we anticipate countless doctor appointments, tests, surgeries, and hospital stays. Sanmay urgently requires intensive in-patient rehabilitation, which is not available in Tennessee. Unfortunately, our medical expenses have rapidly escalated beyond our means.

Therefore, with utmost humility and heartfelt sincerity, I kindly ask you to share the following link with your friends and family and consider offering any financial assistance you can spare (no amount is too small). Your support will alleviate the burden of medical bills and other expenses, allowing us to focus wholeheartedly on Sanmay's well-being.
We are eternally grateful for your support, and may each and every one of you be blessed abundantly.

With warm regards,
Indrani Kundu

The doctors compared the severity of his injuries to those seen in a deadly car accident.

After reading above statement, i dont understand how daycare can deny.

Very sad experience for the kid and their family.

Is the day care center even registered? If yes, they should be able to sue them. It should be easily provable in court. Desis do not go this route, but they should in this case.
