It's a privilege to be living in the US as a White American! He probably understood that! 

If the US starts handing out GCs, the ones who's defending India now would start abusing in a heart beat. They're just making peace with the reality that some day they might have to return to India should something happen!

I am in India right now and I am lovin it. you have to accept the standard of living here just blend with the crowd.
