Nearly half of all funding for Artificial Intelligence and machine learning startups worldwide in the first three months of this year went to San Francisco companies, according to the venture capital database Pitchbook.

Out of the $22.7 billion that investors put into these companies in the first quarter of 2023, $11.1 billion went to San Francisco-based firms, according to the data. That means San Francisco AI companies are on pace to break their 2021 funding record of $11.9 billion over 411 deals.

bro nuvvu poiltics ki kothha kadha. this is a concerted campaign by people in sf themselves to put pressure on the local govt to abandon a lot of its policies on the homeless. republicans just slight ga vaadukuntaaru ee outrage ni for their own ends. but mostly idhi inside job.

last year ilaage spate of robberies on trains ani okate footage ni different angles lo choopinchi 2-3 months outrage machine nadipaaru.

walgreens executive aey chepthunnadu that loss due to stealing actually fell from 3.5% to 2.5% last year.

idantha mee friend @Spartan @Vaampire laantollu repey pukaars about sf to satisfy their rage on liberals who they hate. We'll respond by turning more people lgbt and by distributing harmone therapy for free on the streets. This is America baby. conservative shitheads can fcuk off.

How many of those companies have people working in San Francisco

inkoka solution kooda undhi.. SF must tax entrenched companies like google, alphabet heavily and force them out of the state, so all the high paying jobs also move out

homeless people can occupy the vacant homes, and startups in even more leading edge tech can be built.. just like in the 70s in bay area.

but its not happening. big tech gets too much subsidy from bay area and still its employees (some of them) whine about the city.

nearly all of them. they are startups. why would they move out of sf and waste time traveling to and from work?
