my case also was similiar that i lost confidence in myself that i will survive in IT industry till 60+yrs ... so andukee return vachhesaa to india @ 38yrs and now working for indian MNC for low salary with less work pressure from past 5yrs...

naa aim to retire from IT when crossed 50yrs and plan is to

read personal books , do yoga , follow stock markets  and daily catchup news , afternoon nap and then online forums, visiting relatives , celebrating festivals and then busy schedule anyways will be there as iddaru pillalu vunnaru ...

luckily my expenses are not too high as i introspect before i want to spend and reading history books helped me to understand whats required or whats un-necessary...

Awesome. You have good clarity on your priorities.

How is life after return bro ? Do you regret or happy about your decision to return? Are you able manage good lifestyle with your income just curious to know and may take same decision

Happy Bro...    cheppanu kada i was having  decent clarity what i want in life(thanks to history-science books and religious books also)

i wrote in one notepad why i was returning and pros/cons and discussed with wife also and we thought either we return quickly before kids will have some sort of individuality ..

transition was smooth with bit of ups and downs which are common but overall no regrets and i will never step outside india till my death as i am done with other countries..Europe loo major countries visiting ki vellanu including watching northern lights in norway... so all bucket list done...

pillalu gurinchi mostly vellachhu emo for visiting them in future if they are settled outside india...

one thing which worked for me is to stay far from relatives and parents also and only visit them regularly else malla atta-kodalu timewaste issues and others might come...

Bro looks like you are financially sound otherwise it is not an easy decision. I am thinking about job, house, schools, travelling, corruption and pollution in India. If I dont get a decent job I cant survive as I have to pay few debts.

In my case corruption , pollution are overrated issues in india  as most of time our life is dropping kids to school, office and weekends also max going to restaurents etc...

For simple lifestyle corruption is not a problem unless we need any kind of govt support for whatever reason...

financially sound antaavaa i dont think so , anyways definition of financially stable varies from one person to other depending on lifestyle...

my rent is 30K per month and i will pay it from the rent i get from the 2 houses..

school CBSE and its 1 Lakh per child per year..  so its 8k per month

no bus transport as i will drop them daily...

inka groceries , sarukulu ki monthly 8k

outside food very rare weekly once we eat  monthly--  2k

shopping for whatever reason --  5-10k

roughly oka 60k - max 70K monthly expenses ... even this we can decrease if i stay in less rented flat like around 20-25k ...

Mentally strong gaa vundali and also yevari jivitham valladi so yevaroo pullarao vuntunnnaadu ani we should not imitate and stop comparision...

in my case i have no choice since i have very low confidence that i can survive in IT field after i cross 55+yrs...  also UK looo NHS hospitals sucks big time... so old age in UK will be nightmare and moreover i dont have strong social circle in UK...

Indian brought up kids are always street smart, just like us, they will be ready to work anywhere, any country, ready to adopt to any environment, life  lo elanti ups and downs ayina handle cheskuntaru, Indian brought up kids ki more exciting life untadhi, they can travel to any first world countries for higher studies and work for an year or two or couple more and then relocate to India again with toddler kids for peaceful life. Their situation will be different compared to we people, we might have left an house and some u property for them in metro cities in India.

Sorry i forgot to add few more expenses

rent - 30k ( i pay from the rent i collect from 2 own houses)

school CBSE and its 1 Lakh per child per year..  so its 8k per month and for 2 kids its 16k

no bus transport as i will drop them daily...

inka groceries , sarukulu ki monthly 10k

outside food very rare weekly once we eat  monthly--  2k

shopping for whatever reason --  10k

maid , internet , electricity , water charges --  2k + 2 k + 2k == 6k

petrol for 2 bikes --  1500 per month

Misc expenses like travel --   on an averge monthly 10k

roughly oka  80-90K max monthly expenses ... even this we can decrease if we can decrease rent or EMI

iddaru job chestee its more than comfortable life as one salary will be totally gone for above expenses and another salary we can save...

having said that its best we earn outside india for X number of years so paying EMI can be quick and can lead to stress free life to some extent..

Dont feel like living. Peer pressure both with family and friends has increased. I lost all the interest in learning new things to progress in career.

All the progress ends up with slavery at a good rate. Expectations from me have increased where as my potential to earn has

decreased. I have to work just to pay all bills and loans. Rise in interest rates added fuel to worsen my life. Its a donkey life.

Bro look at this.. I hope it helps…
