I am surprised no one mentioned this version, but this is the version of the story i heard.

Its not balayya but his wife who shot the gun. Chowdary (astrologer) has been advising Balayya and bellam supporting him that his fate would change with 2nd marriage. This was going on for a while and balayya was keen on taking advice it seems. 

After the incident, balayya took the gun from wife and took blame. 

Sounds like a movie story .. but this is what I heard.

Baligadu chese *** kathalaki ,malli chesukunte endi lekapothe endi...

industry chala mandini dunnesi vuntadu in unoffical marriages...

Bellamknda must have did something extremly unbearable to balayaa (

Everyone talks about bellamkonda. Did'nt balayya or whoever fire both bellamkonda and chowdary?

Its known how much balakrishna believes jatakams and the fact that whoever shot, shot both. Y? that should be the question and not y Balayya fired only bellamkonda. 

There is no doubt about balayya's affairs or whatever you want to call it in the film industry.
