Layoffs season resumes again.

Next wave will be reduction of salaries for most employees in the name of Role standardization, etc. Oka company trend start chestadi rest will follow. This is more beneficial/profitable to orgs in long run.

Already heard the strategy in a couple of companies. Others will follow. Salaries have grown up a lot in last 3 yrs Great resignation), its a counter strategy that's coming.

Most companies will adopt layoffs but not this strategy. Some mid range companies may adopt this strategy.

Non-IT companies which are into Health Care, Manufacturing, life sciences, Medican devices, Pharma, Insurance bases, etc may adopt this strategy. During Great resignation employees took advantage. now its employers turn. With recession looming around, companies are trying to control their expenses with their sales going down. With job market bad, employees will not dare to leave.

2009 is an example when it happened. Hopefully it doesn't happen.
