actually, statue of equality Ramanuja, opening ceremony budget overspent by 200 crores, costing 300 crores. not much support, lot of issues. Now they r opening new statue on august.. as much i actively participate jeeyar JET ..statue of equality didnt pick up in terms of piligrm spiritual tourism...

Inspite of giving to poor people, there is a good amount of grain thy gets rotten because of storage conditions.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday laid the foundation stone of 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Ram in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh through video conferencing. The statue will be built at a cost of over 500 crore rupees. In his address, Mr. Shah said the statue to be installed in Mantralayam will give the message of Sanatan Dharma to the entire world, and it will strengthen the Vaishnava tradition.
 
The Home Minister said this project is spread over an area of 10 acres in Mantralayam village. It would be completed in two and a half years. He said the village is very famous for the temple of Raghavendra Swamy and the place has historical significance. He informed that under the Mantralayam Das Sahitya Prakalp, many initiatives, such as housing, Anna Daanam, Pran Daanam, Vidya Daanam, drinking water and cow protection have been taken.

Correct e kaani. Additional measures can be taken - I don’t know how exactly these storage systems work but alaa open lo pedithe pakka padu authay especially in rainy season. A godown lo workers etc untaru kadaa - is it hard to check the grain condition. I don’t know how other countries does it - May be it is the same across the globe ?

Sometimes it so happens that they don’t even find enough proper storage and open spaces la plastic sheets vesi cover chestaru…Already FCI has so much storage filled with reserves grains that every year they take additional space in leases. Just to get you an idea the size of a FCI go down, the length will be twice of a football field.
