Karma is not just confined to this birth alone. You only know what you have done in this birth? I highly doubt this narrative anyways. We are not aware of many things we do unknowingly. Thats subject to debate....But

Anyways, How about things from the previous birth. Karma is a baggage. It carries over from previous births too. That is the sole reason even infants suffer some times. They haven't done anything bad yet. But they still suffer for things from previous birth. Thats karma. Its a complex topic.

If I were you, try to protect your assets. Arjuna had a war with his own cousins. If you think dharma is on your side, then fight for it. If you succeed then you are fine. If not, then just get over it.

In conclusion, fight your battle. But dont be obsessed about the fruits of it. Too much attachment to the result can only lead to misery. Take it easy...

If dharma is not on your side, then dont even bother doing anything.  Not worth any fights

Karmaa works  from your thinking..,your looks ..your gestures...your decisions about rightoeus vs non righteous will also matter..few things we do unknowingly even without our knowledge that it will effect us.....what ever your comments running in your head against others will also be taken into account...along with your past life deeds (subjective to acceptance of this theory)..

When I was working in India, there were layoffs and HR was laying off people left and right. Evari desk daggariki call vasthe vallu phat. 2-3 days aa HR full thop la feel ayyindi. After 3 days she was laid off as company found she hired a lot of them taking money from them.
