I dont know about other companies. But higher management at my firm is asking for reports of people who are reluctant to come onsite. Project critical resource ayithe time being overlook chesthunnaru. Tharvatha layoffs lo lepi 10ngutharuuu anipisthundhiii. Even though they are not revealing about it. I can read it through their conversations.
 

as of now, I’m sending monthly reports of two employees who report to me. So far things are not looking good for one of them.

The pressure is coming from top mgmt(govt & local authorities nunchi vallaki pressure).

Google already announced its going to include 3 days wfo as metric in perf for non remote folks. Many orgs in many companies are already doing it unofficially.

 

thats the reality. U can definitely find fully remote job but u may have to make some sacrifices.

 

mine is fully remote but i am trying to be on office for 1-2 days

take all laptops ..keep other 2 under desk and connect to 3 monitors.. see if there is keyboard/mouse switch technology.. to switch to laptops needed

Today ma office la email officially sent to all vendors to hybrid model.

Onsite resource has to accept the newly revised pay and Offsite resource revised pay.

40% official pay cut till End of Sept. After that it is mandatory in office, expect the resource to be terminated if not obliged.

Rates came down drastically, who all accepted the low rates for 2nd and 3rd jobs, company made those rates as standard for primary resources.
