His grandfather built a temple and did lot's of social service to the village and that came back so well for his family

Bhayya do not waste your time on this useless non existent karma. I want karma to exist but it doesn't. There are 1000 times more stories that doing good didn't help them probably even destroyed many.

Karma doesn’t span one lifetime. Even if you do everything according to dharma in this lifetime, it may not help you in this life time, you may still have some prarabhda

 

karma is not as simple as causality, it’s a bit complicated concept. Whether you accept it or not is up to the individual. For some things, you will see direct impact and for other things you will not see the results. It doesn’t mean the concept is wrong, it’s because  we either don’t understand it enough(ignorance) or because the effect didn’t happen yet
