One of our company VPs who was close to Jewish founder (passed away now) used to tell us a story. Founder invited him to his office and offered his beloved blazer as a gift. VP said he cant take it for free, so offered 1$. Founder smiled. When asked he said, he made a profit on the jacked as he bought it in a garage sale few years back for 50 cents.
