I’ll suggest my wife’s routine

breakfast - overnight oats with fruits, honey, chia seeds, milk and yogurt

weekend she eats Indian breakfast

lunch - small cup of cooked rice or whole wheat pasta(Garofalo), sautéed veggies and protein of your choice

snack- Greek yogurt or some fruit

dinner - as light as possible and before 8 pm, two chapati or salad with some protein

cut out processed sugar entirely and rely on natural sugars from fruits or honey(maple syrup is a good alternative)

follow this for a couple months with your cardio routine and you’ll definitely see results

Also, replace your regular oil with good quality olive oil

breast chicken - preferably organic. Store bought rotisserie chicken is cheap, quick and easy.

no chicken legs, wings, thighs, drumsticks.

brown rice and quinoa rice

light and early dinner before 7:30 pm

eat fruits and veggies/kale instead of milk, ice cream or yoghurt

stay away from sugars and sodas - they will blow you out!

Fortunately, I'm average build and never have to worry about calories or dieting.

while cooking brown/quinoa rice in rice cooker, add pieces of cooked rotisserie chicken breasts to it with some veggies, spices - and that's your healthful biryani :)

If I have to control my weight or reduce a little, I always start with Greek Yogurt (Fage fav). It has more protiens and regulates cravings.

Annai many many diets, American consumerism tells you calorie counting agree one of the important factor

But calories from type of source is important,  for example 1000 calore from some big sugary ice cream sundae,  is not equal to 1000 calories from protein, fat grilled chiken etc

Icecream 1000 will be absorbed fast into body , insulin spikes up and you will be hungry again

1000 manchi salad , grilled chiken with nice oils cheese tinavu anuko that will make you appear full for 10 hours

The number of meals you handling your day is important than calories

So both calories are same but net impact is different

Golden words from a golden heart….thanks Anna…awesome asaluuu

Please tell man helps me in calculating calories for my weight loss

you have to do custom calculation.

cooked rice yenni cups + meat weight ( with type) , rough ga oka 25% extra add for masala , oil and other stuff. Raita and salan add chesthey add another 100 cal.

lets say 2 cup basmati rice with 2 pieces of chicken along with raita and salan

(420 + 331 )*1.25 +100 = 1038 cals
