- signals are in very few places…everywhere u turn…

- some areas like bachupally..etc (some other rural areas) roads are horrible

- ORR is good…but its good to have public toilets/service areas along ORR…saw people public urinating on ORR side stop (after collecting tolls that’s not big ask)

…………………….

don’t think these are silly nitpickings…hyd is multicultural multi-linguistic modern city with bright future…so if we identify the issues and accept it  with open mind it will help in long run…

Whole of india is a pedestrian nightmare tbh.

that's why polticians showcase cities only using drone shots because it hides all the broken footpaths , litter everywhere , dusty roads , sewage overflowing in all water bodies , etc

Most African countries have far better urban infra than Hyderabad

hyd is not multi cultural modernistic city with bright future. its an urban mess with pathetic land use and ever growing urban sprawl.

all cities in India are. Hyderabad is not an exception to this.

not safe for pedestrians or cycles. you don't have to be nice in criticizing them. Hyd is designed for cars.

plus nightmare for cyclists. urban infra is symptom of an even bigger problem. the ever growing urban sprawl in Hyd means the city can never have good equal infra throughout the city.

people are buying plots with 33ft roads because its hard to get approval if you have just 16ft roads. That's how much of space is wasted in cities in India.

what's the point of haivng metro if you can't build dense housing surrounding it.. Hyd had a lot of potential 10yrs ago, all of them given away in a cycle of poor planning and expanding city.

the biggest issue with Hyd is wide roads. that makes designing drainage system that much harder since the road acts like a catchment area for water in the surroundings.

its like Hyd copied all the worst parts of urban planning for US cities. Looking east towards Japan is better.
