Oh yeh i forgot, you are the one who has an opinion on everything with out knowing anything about it.

this is what I called being touchy. lmao.

which of my general observation on Hyd (a city I visited quite a number of times as a kid, but only once as an adult), wrong? or misplaced?

what should I know about Hyderabad before I speak about it.. pls tell. anyway I didn't speak about Hyd at all, outside of what one can assume of a similar sized city in India.

This made me laugh. So you are the professor and I am your student?

Go back to the beginning of this thread and go through the whole discussion to understand what we are talking about.

how am I the professor? lmao.

theres no need to go anywhere. you got pissed off at something I said, and assumed that I said it to invite such a reaction.

I don't think you understand what i'm even saying. I'm always talking about uppercastes in this db making choices to spoil their environment for themselves and others.

I'm saying the same in this thread too. Whether it is hyd, or Chennai or Mumbai, my rant is the same. I may lack the details when it comes to Hyd, but the overall theory is true.

neeku anyway brain anedhi ledhu kaabatti.. let me explain what I'm saying here.

I'm saying you uppercaste fcuks wanting something, are doing the exact opposite of what you want since you lack any civic sense and are dumbfcuks.

I don't have to be from Hyd to say this. It applies to all cities in India.

nice joke. did you pull this out of your ar$e?

what do you think of 'The Line' project somewhere in Saudi Arabia.. do you think its a horizontal or vertical development.. haha..

cities actually naturally develop in the direction where there is least resistance. In a lively happening city, going vertical is easier, since people want to stay as much as possible close to the action, so the focus will be on increasing housing density.

in a dead city, where people don't want to look at their neighbours face and has nothing of worth to do in the city, it'll expand horizontally.

there's no natural law that says that cities will develop in a certain way. It has to do with the character of people living there. And the joke that Hyd is growing vertically made my day. Building 30-40 storeys, in an area with an overall density less than couple thousand per sqkm is not vertical growth. Its just a different kind of horizonatal growth.

the only city that seems to be growing vertically as far as I'm aware in India is the Navi Mumbai.

Its very obvious you are trying to deviate the topic and get into your regular trolling. I am sticking to the topic.

1. You claim initially you never been to hyd. Then you claim you visited as kid (excusable) and as an adult too.

2. People make a big part of any city. You have to know the people and stay in the city to understand how its different. I already gave examples.

3. I supported a statement that roads were the best in CBN's rule. Coz I have been a regular visit to hyd and I was a grown up during CBN rule. I am not supporting CBN here, but stating a fact. You question this too with out any knowledge of the roads in the city.

4. You have been trying to give the thread a different color (as usual. I am amazed at how good you are at this). When I am not falling for it - I am being touchy. Its difficult for you to understand - most people have attachment to the city/village they come from. I understand the good and bad about my city and happy with the progress. I don't worry about things not in my hand (read city development).

As other cities, I am very happy the progress the city is making at its own pace - The point being "I am happy". Hoping to see a better city in future. You talk about things (how cities should develop) which are neither in your control nor mine and ranting about upper castes.

I don't care about you fcuks ra. I'm just saying what I feel like saying. I'm actually having a conversation, instead of acting high and mighty like you fcuks.

if you are not interested to talk to me, feel free to move on. doesn't bother me one bit.

this is an immaterial point. I don't understand why you are hung up on this. I actually said that 'technically' I've never been to Hyd since I don't have memories of it.

what examples did you give?

that's not in any way supportive of your statement. How is your personal opinion of Hyd roads from 90s a fact?

you are simply overthinking this. I've been explicit in my comments that pedestrian friendliness will not be achieved unless land use is changed and Hyd shrinked further and not allowed to expand unilaterally.

I mean I expect an average Indian person to be sufficiently glum about their city, enough to atleast handle a random comment thrown about their city never being a world class city.

yeah, but when you praise your friends using uber/rapido, you are indulging in unconscious justification of the current way of life, which I'm just pointing to you that is not sustainable. and that perhaps you are among those that stands in the way of Hyd becoming a global city.

ranting about upper castes is absolutely necessary.

all you have to do is to tell me that you are indulging in rekindling nostalgia with strangers you've never met from Hyd, and that I stfu and get out of this thread.

and I will shut up and I will get out.

trying to portray what I'm saying as immaterial to the topic is just a losing cause. I'm absolutely on point in this thread. You are the ones who are rambling about your personal experiences as some version of truth.

Yes.

you should have said this much earlier. okay.

but just know that your 'practical and sensible' attitude is part of the problem that afflicts your city.
