People working for FAANG level are in different league . Senior dev  position can make 600-700k with RSU. If they do 3 jobs they can make 1-2 million easy. 
 

One of my friend accepted offer in snowflake in 2016. Got 30000 options . In one point after IPO it’s worth 6 million. you should have some luck to be on that situation. Never give up.
