Global power India don't have chip / semiconductor manufacturing

Corporates want more money from the government. They are greedy. 24hr power and water supply, along with labor strikes can be a concern. Establishing a manufacturing plant is not easy. Look at how much an equipment costs. LAM, AMAT, ASM, ASML are some of leading equipment manufacturers for your reference. Talent pool in India is also very compromised but may be ok with just manufacturing. Personally, I hate the Indian work culture as well, not appropriate for semiconductor manufacturing (lacks accountability).

Technically speaking, in current economics and trend...

investing in home-grown chip manufacturing  doesnt make sense.

- NVIDIA, INTEL or other companies ki manufacturing option iste best. Let FDI invest in setup with proper environmental subsidies from govt..

and put the rest of the money somewhere which can boot home-grown tech advancement
