I barely know about her, except she is single.

Came to she is a divorcee and shared lots of things... Sports, politics, spirituality etc...sounded like she needs a companion and friend.. 

I sat in the office chair next to bed and she sat on bed... small dinky hotel room. 

She dressed up in jeans and jackets etc so after couple of hours she changed to her pajamas... Now under the sheets still sitting. 

Started talking about childhood and she want to show photos. It's not comfortable to show, so she asked me to get on the bed next to me.. still showing pictures and talking. I did put my hands around her to be comfortable, nothing romantic 

Many times I thought of making a move but didn't. Why? 

Many thoughts...

I was out for 16 hours in a sweaty city .. conference, happy hour, walking, restaurant ...

Drank a lot and ate lot of greasy food .

No condom... 

I can sense I'm losing a chance but I thought we have 2 more days.

So, went back to being a good friend and trying to gain her trust and giving my perspective on many things... Not trying to impress by agreeing to all things she says, but give honest opinion. 

After some time , around 2 am we finally called it a night and called a cab. 

There is part 3 next day where I fully dropped the ball....

We were in conference the next day we spent most of the day like close friends... Went out to eat instead of sandwich they give, skipped one session to go out for coffee.

Around 4 she said feeling sleepy( as we both slept very late) and tried to find a quiet room, which is impossible in there.

My hotel is attached to conference venue , so she said let's go to to your room and relax for sometime as we have party later on. 

We started walking to our room and when we were in lobby, she got office call which is supposed to take 10 minutes.

She started taking the call from lobby and asked me to go ahead.

This time I'm excited / confused but regardless went up and took shower and started waiting...

10 minutes turned to 30 minutes... Called several times and no response. 

After 45 minutes, I got dressed and started down and didn't find her in lobby. Went to conference and bumped into other colleagues who got exclusive pass to party at brewery. Started walking out towards hotel again and saw her... Looking at me angrily and disappointed.

Apparently her call ran over time, she sent me text which for whatever reason my new phone didn't alert me... She called me, but network congestion due to thousands of people using phones at 5pm means she got busy tones. She was in elevator, when I was searched for her in lobby h

Biggest F u ck  up I did is, I didn't acknowledge her as our other colleagues were already surprised to see her near hotel as she doesn't stay there.

My timing, my phone, cell phone coverage all acted against me ...

But, in retrospect not sure what we would have done on that evening. 

I drank a lot and next day is last day of conference.

She ignored me and when I asked why ( stupid of me ) she said you you know why... That's the sad ending.

Sad man you missed a chance. Why would she not ask you out again? Aa chance miss ayina, you both could do when you are back at your place.
