lets say some trans athletes are cheating with manipulation of T levels, by pumping themselves with steroids.

this can be mitigated by having a thorough testing system that tests not just for the T levels. its a question of how fairly and equitably the sport is managed, rather than which type of person is competing.

Its important to explore all options instead of plainly taking the conservative route of banning everything that is 'not normal' or 'not acceptable'.

the discussion on whether MtoF transitioned people to participate in the women category in certain sports is a very nuanced discussion, that can only be settled by science, not by mockery of trans athletes in pop media.

ITF does have rules to allow participation of MtoF transitioned players, and the tournament you linked to is an ITF tournament. The decision to allow trans players to play is certainly not discretionary.

you can dispute this rule itself, as many do, with the argument that being on estrogen for an year or more is not enough to nullify the advantage that the trans player has over other female players. As yet, there are no studies that show that trans athletes that have been on HRT for an year or more have greater endurance/strength compared to female athletes.
