Economy wise UPA did well...universities kooda baga integrate chesayi..but NDA solved some long standing issues especially for the right wing, without breaking the economy

Inflation rates of India and US are different.

1$ can be 500Rs and still Induan economy can be better.

It's better not to mix 2 unrelated things.

Also, if not for Modi's strong stance during Ukraine war and getting cheap oil from Russia, the exchange would have crossed 90Rs due to higher inflation.

Remittances happen in dollar. It is a universal currency. Weakening of rupee against dollar will have cascade effect on trade and services. Also, Britain is going through some turmoil. They have changed 3 prime ministers in the last 2 years. It is an unprecedented situation in the history of that country. Are you saying India is unstable too?

Never seen going down or stay.

I’m just amazed at the rate at which rupee is weakening under Bodi. In a way two people work for same amount of $ compared to one person 10 years ago.

Companies that rely on exports are probably doing festival….More profits due to rupeee weakening. Currency conversion lo biggest beneficiaries valle

actually not that much. global supply chains in most products have made currency devaluation almost useless, since a large part of the input materials in such exports will be imported. their profit margins have shrunk.

India's only hope is to figure out a way to use its huge population (economies of scale) to sell cheaper stuff than its global competitors. Otherwise it is going to get worse.

not just under Bodi, even under God it will be weakening. Indians either have to be innovative or produce cheap stuff at large scale to move the demand for rupee..

just blame casteist society of India for all its ills. communal project of Hindutva that tries to unsuccessfully hide this disgustingly evil practice of caste that affects Indian productivity at all levels.

all the muslim bashing is for nothing, eventually. Not even a functioning economy.
