Fighting is no solution: Sheila Dikshit to Arvind Kejriwal

"Constitution has defined the power Delhi has, its not unlimited. Centre, Lt Governor and Home Ministry handle a lot of things," the three time former Chief Minister told the media here.

some wise words from delhi ex cm .. who is cm for 15 yrs when bjp is at centre

New Delhi: Soon after the Supreme Court delivered a split verdict on the issue of the transfer and posting of Delhi government officers, Congress city unit chief Sheila Dikshit on Thursday advised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that fighting is no solution. "Constitution has defined the power Delhi has, its not unlimited. Centre, Lt Governor and Home Ministry handle a lot of things," the three time former Chief Minister told the media here. "So fighting is no solution, make changes if needed," she said. Her remarks came after Kejriwal accused the Centre and the Supreme Court of not allowing them to work in the national capital. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the national capital had, on a number of occasions, accused the Centre of not allowing them to function. Hitting out at Kejriwal, Dikshit said "power does not depend on the number of seats you have". The AAP had won 67 out of the 70 seats in the national capital in the 2015 Assembly polls. The Congress had scored a duck in the polls while the Bharatiya Janata Party won three seats. In a setback to the AAP government in Delhi, a two-judge bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday gave a split verdict on the contentious issue of who should control administrative services but appeared to agree that the Centre has the final word. In view of the differences, Justices A K Sikri and Ashok Bhushan referred the matter to a larger bench of the apex court. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, whose Aam Aadmi Party has been accusing the Centre of appointing such officers who create hurdles in the works of the AAP government, termed the verdict as "unfortunate" and said it was ironic that a chief minister can't have power to appoint even a peon in his office.

Manipur issue diver cheyadaniki ie bill uh ? Ekanga No confidence motion move chesi debate jarugutunte house Lo, malli divert eda sachindi ?

Curb the powers of Delhi Govt…so much so that Delhi CM gets enough power to manage the civic amenities or remove the statehood and make it a UT. This partial statehood does not work anymore especially with a govt like AAP in power, cannot trust them to have influence at base level along the power corridors.

Few years back..I think 2014-2016 time la this kejri appointed 20 MLA’s as Parliament Secrataries inspite of knowing it attracts office of profit and people like Sonia Gandhi had to resign in a similar issue and there was ruling by SC. Yet Kejriwal who has undergone administration training still went ahead and appointed Parliament secretaries…

Itluntadi vyaharam…
