A 51kms of tunnel is being constructed between Ramappa and Dharmasagar, as part of JCR Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme's Phase III to lift 50tmc water as part of Devadula project.

This is the one of the longest or the longest tunnels in India.

Another, 43kms long tunnel is being constructed between Srisailam and Nakkalagandi/Dindi Balancing Reservoir as part of SLBC Tunnel (Gravity) Scheme.

Two engineering marvels in the making!
