Only at International Arrivals or Domestic Arrivals too?

We are landing in Chennai first (International flight) and then going to Hyd by domestic flight.  Will they still allows us to get a SIM card at HYD airport?  Don't want to do it in Chennai as there isn't much gap for the HYD flight.  Thanks anna.

Hyderabad has one terminal for international and domestic arrivals...so everyone pass through same counters after your customs...there will be kiosks for SIM cards...check below AIrport website under telecom section

I took a sim card bro at the Hyd airport. International arrivals lo after customs check, just before you exit, there are some counters for the currency exchange, taxis and sim cards. Nenu daytime vellaa, early morning flights ki Sim cards counter open aa kaadhaa ani theleedhu.

Domestic arrivals can't reach these counters for international passengers. Domestic ki vere counters unnayemo theleedhu. T shape lo untundhi exits for domestic and international. Left side nunchi domestic exit, right side nunchi international exit, both merge and exit together.

Airtel Sim ki aithe, if you want to use passport, current or old passport meedha India address undaali. Naa latest passport US lo renew ayyindhi, so it had the US address. He asked for my old passport. Activation takes around half an hour.

Vodafone Sim ki aadhaar is enough, 5 mins activation. but Signals are too weak for vodafone.

So, Passport and/or aadhar unte, you can get some sim.

Cost was 600rs for the Sim + 1 month validity with 1.5GB limit per DAY!

After a few days, I took an airtel sim near my house. It was 300rs for the sim + 1 month validity.

Nothing Wrong with number, fault is your bamardi

When you setup phonepe it asks where to send your incoming money

mee babu skip kotti vuntadu aa step

If you're wondering about the procedure, fret not! All you need is a soft copy of your Aadhar card, and you're golden. Now, onto the juicy stuff. Picture this: I'm gearing up for my trip abroad, and I'm on a mission to stay connected without racking up those dreaded roaming charges. That's when I stumbled upon a game-changing solution: eSIM cards. Seriously, folks, they're a game-changer. Before embarking on my own journey, I did some sleuthing and stumbled upon  https://internationalsimcard.com.au/. Their range of options fits the bill perfectly, offering seamless connectivity without the fuss. Trust me,  it's like having a digital lifeline in your pocket.

For Airtel, they wanted my passport with an Indian address, but Vodafone just needed my Aadhaar. The SIM was ready in like 5–30 minutes, depending on the provider.
If you're traveling a lot, I’d say an eSIM is a game changer. No more swapping SIMs or worrying about roaming fees. I switched to Simify recently, and it’s been super chill—works in tons of countries. Definitely worth checking out if you want to keep things easy.
