kid died on tirupati walk path

They started the walk to tirumala at 8pm and the unfortunate accident happened at 10pm. Govt strongly advices people to avoid walking in night time in that path. I am sure the family could have been isolated during that time.

dont expect any govt to do anything when people dont take minimal precautions

First attack was leopard. They caught it and released in diff jungle. This attack they don’t know which animal it is even. It could be a bear too and looks like the kid wandered into jungle. 2 failure points. First add safety by wrapping the walk path with fences around so people can’t leave and animals can’t get in, add some gates and entry points for emergencies. Second, stay with your kids and make sure they stay with you. When you are going in big groups, it’s easy to lose track of kids.

Killing it is wrong

Authorities should think of rules

Forest dept should take care of the situation

Unfortunate incident. Its easy to blame the family but these kinda situations happen. Its diff to control kids esp. the hyper ones and on top of the difficulty in climbing.

I climbed these steps on my every visit to Tirupati and was satisfied with amenities provided. Looks like they are alerting commuters. If these things are happening, they should ban going at night times or should not let people with kids go at nights.
