Job market for Locals vs Non Locals in Major US Cities

Recent Observations from Swadeshi Chai gang discussion:

- Lots of Desis with some sort of marginal experience are still in Covid mood and Lavada-lo mindset and not showing interest for roles which are hybrid or in-person.

- Locals are only showing interest for remote jobs for which there is high competition and low billing rates. Stupid excuses like traffic, commute lo productivity, kids school, wife got promotion, wife ki vere city lo job ochindi ... isonti reasoning emi pani cheyadam ledu..

- On the Counter side there are certain Job seekers who has limited experience and Interest to meet the Client expectations. Non-Locals are taking the opportunity to travel or follow the Client guidelines for hybrid work schedules.

Ultimately, RTO mandates are coming where everything will be normal by early next year!

Hybrid work will be rare for new recruitments as we are seeing already

those who were hired to work remotely are the first in list to be laid off

covid mania is over and the sooner people realize, sooner it will be better for them.
