One of the genius and stunning case, which is better than any Hollywood movie is "cambridge analytica" case,

That is the first incident where data analytics unleashed its power,

search for "cambridge analytica scandal" and there is one video where one guy explains how he used facebook data to manipulate people based on "OCEAN" strategy.

whatever that is happening now in India through I-PAC team is no different from this,

West has made sure that the company behind the cambridge analytica is closed after the scandal surfaced.

But in India, how foolish are the governments build the data pipelines where volunteers are gathering data through surveys and submitting it to the government, which in turn is for sure using for its purposes.

Apart from this I-PAC is also running its own data gathering and using it to manipulate elections.

Very very dangerous trend, given the pathetic lethargy of our Indian regulatory systems in taking preventive actions of any such scandals.

We are least cared about digital privacy and will pretend like everything is fine until it hits us bad.

Let’s just get back into the past…

Data ni ise chesukuni everyday jeevitham ni shape chesukuntaru…ipudu vachi vammo vayyo antaru.

There is a section of a community who thinks data is extremely confidential and private and they do what so ever to protect the data. Just that their data was stolen long before we thought that data could even be stolen…

Ie data lekunda vision 2047 possible ae na ?

IT Grids (India) Private Limited, a company based in Hyderabad was found to be in possession of Aadhaar data and voter ID information of 7.82 crore individuals in Telugu speaking states of Andhara Pradesh and Telangana. The company used the Aadhar data to develop TDP’s Seva Mitra app which is being used by the party workers to influence the voters. A nine-member Special Investigation Team investigated the case and found that the private company used Aadhar data. “After examining the size of the database, we found that it is similar to the original database of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI),” said the investigation team.

Saw a video on Instagram on how to easily get Customers data based on a mobile number. He was making API Calls to TrueCaller and showed the data set returned. Privacy issue.
