$1M in assets. What like extremely overpriced property that will be hard to liquidate?

In India, some parents work hard to purchase a home and acquire a 2-acre piece of land in their name. As a single-income family with two children, they face various challenges. However, it can be disheartening when individuals like us, who have faced hardships, witness others flaunting their wealth in front of everyone, which is why people like us may feel left out.

Buying property to live in is fine. If you like the property, the price and it’s surrounding area, then buy it. Owning a home is a big accomplishment in life.

Only issue is when people try to boast about their personal wealth to put down others. In reality, their so called source of wealth is extremely overvalued property while cash poor. If they try to liquidate it for emergency funds, they might have hard time.

Purchasing a property to call home is a commendable decision. If you find a property you genuinely appreciate, in a price range that suits you, and located in an area you like, it's a wise choice. Owning a home is a significant milestone in one's life.

The concern arises when individuals use their personal wealth to belittle others. In truth, some may tout their wealth based on property values that are inflated, leaving them with limited cash reserves. If they ever need to convert their property into emergency funds, they could encounter challenges.

Always have enough tangible assets that can easily be converted to cash. You never know when you need lots of cash immediately.

Real estate mafias in India will mess with you on property deals.

Investing in a property to create a home is a commendable choice. When you discover a property you truly adore, at a price point that fits your budget, and in a location that resonates with you, it becomes a sound decision. Owning a home represents a substantial achievement in one's life journey.

The issue arises when people employ their personal wealth to demean others. In reality, some may flaunt their prosperity based on inflated property values, which can result in a scarcity of liquid assets. If the need ever arises to convert their property into emergency funds, they might encounter difficulties.
