In a tragic incident that unfolded on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur, a 37-year-old businessman from Lucknow allegedly strangled his wife to death in front of their two children inside their SUV. As per a TOI report, the shocking motive behind the crime is said to be the husband's "inferiority complex" triggered by his wife's significant Instagram following. The victim's Instagram account, which is currently private, is under scrutiny by the authorities. Her husband's insecurity was exacerbated by the fact that she had blocked him on her account. This led him to suspect that her social media admirers might visit her in his absence, leading to heightened tensions within their relationship. Providing further insight into the incident, Kurebhar SHO Praveen Kumar Yadav shared that the accused ran a tour and travel agency, while his wife was a homemaker. The couple, along with their 12-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, resided in Lucknow's Para locality.
