politics these days are about making memes or fun about other political leaders making mistakes/typos and dragging families. No one gives a chuck about policies, development, growth, infrastructure, jobs.

Applies to all parties. Look at how social media campaigns made joker out of Rahul Gandhi and Lokesh. People will never taken them seriously. Politicians with good oratory powers and political strategy always win.

Life is a meme fest.. politics is also a meme fest!! 
All these press meets go for an hour or more.. but no one has the patience to listen to it.. so they say something outrageous so they can create a short and get views.. opposition takes out some tongue slip and make it a meme.. TikTok really changed everyone’s attention span.. YouTube and Instagram followed..
