Anyone travelled to Cancun recently? What resort to book? Too many choices? Is it better to go with Costco or separate?

Go separately it will cheap and go with any American resorts all inclusive, all are good

You can go there even on a valid H1. I think if you return with in 7 days no visa needed.

I would suggest to go with Costco all inclusive the best deal with food and drinks included and also all events and games in hotel everyday near the beach . It was the most cost effective option for 5 members we went.

I have heard Costco in general will cost same or more than if book individually. But the biggest plus side is you will enjoy food and drinks without ever worrying about prices which is priceless. Experience and enjoyment matters most.

Nope...for 4 nights it costed average of $450 per person for hotel + food + drinks + airport transfers and all the beach amenities for water sports.

Food aithe we ordered to make freshly in front of us everyday. Thats the best part without worrying about everyday expenses on food.

We just focused on entertainment by going outside adventure parks and returning and eating and drinking how much ever we want.

Regarding visa best is check with airlines I went with gc so nothing was required but I heard if u have h1b visa u don't need mexico visa only if ur usa visa expired then u need to apply Mexican visa to enter Mexico while coming back into USA if US valid or invalid (with avr with valid i797 u can enter) not sure of the scenario with ead/ Ap

I went in last spring I did all inclusive costco that's best specially transfer to and fro from airport ..individually hard to get hold of travel companies they give hand..without cellphone service u will be hard to handle ..I stayed in villa del palmar cancun it was bit away from stip but got the best deal in Spring break time for 7 days all inclusive for 4k (for 4 ppl in family deluxe ocean facing 1 bedroom suite with Murphy bed in hall and huge dining table in living room and full fledged kitchen and hammock in the balcony ) this was kind of deal booked on December 31st for March 1st week travel during school holiday time in texas ..somen of my friends who booked in Jan and Feb paid same thing around 6k to 7k.. plan travel ahead of time you can crack a deal..

Cancun this time of year must be super hot but november to April should be pleasant time..PM me if any additional details needed.

Treatment was like royal from the time we got down from airport until we return ocean and round the clock food drinks and cocktails room service of food fine dining restsrunts (need to reserve ahead of time) and amazing taste of luxury wines breakfast buffet on the ocean is just amazing also once restaurant does fresh guacamole right in front of you it was pretty awesome taste ..kayak on the ocean and one day day trip to cancun sign and cancun city tour after 3 days of resort and parasail also was pretty good we skipped going to chitcheniza but interested can do it as said takes more than 10 hrs of day didn't feel like doing it..

I remember the raw honey trays where they used to bring from right from harvesting honey was so awesome experience honey tasted so good.. a boat filled with cocktails in the in pool was awesome and maccu girl making us to do zumba in water was awesome and one evening casino experience for kids on the ocean and night is also awesome live music on the ocean with chill drink I just felt like pampered so much

Down side after 1 week got bored of Mexican food after coming back had to skip Mexican food for few days 😄
