Can share your experience please?

Planning in month of November on the way to India, stop over 4 days.

Any suggestions for Visa, Stay, Food, any interesting Day trips other than Giza?

Thanks in advance.

Yes baa what do you want to know. We stayed 4 days in Cairo and 7 days on the Nile cruise.

Cairo is like India baa, reminds you of India in a lot of ways. There are very posh gleaming and glittering buildings, 5 kms away you can find slums as well. Traffic is chaotic but less chaotic than India, also they honk much less than in India.

Giza visit will take half a day baa, id recommend going inside the Kufu pyramid but if you have a fear of closed spaces and are obese etc won't recommend it. It's very dark inside even with the lights they arranged. The sound and light show in the evenings near the pyramids is decent, won't say it's great but it's worth checking out once.

Rest of the time we spent in the kHan elkhili bazaar, it's like our Koti bazaar. We also visited the Coptic churches, and the Islamic old town of Cairo.

Recommend going with a tour guide baa ledante dochi 10ganeeki try chestharu locals plus their English is not great so hard to understand them at times.
