It used to be when interest rates were low…but all the mortage payments that you pay in the initial years will go towards interest majorly…even if you refi, the mortgage costs will still eat away into the equity that one would built in the initial years.

Owning is the house is good only if you pay off fast or you invest the pay off amount and generate more than mortgage. Worst case 30 years aythe 1M loan ki you pay more than double and if you sell the house after 30 Years you don’t get 2M  - that is one of the reasons why some people are preferring to rent

If you don’t buy house but invest in crypto or spend money on vacations or massages , Assam train in the long term.
House konte atleast you live in it, build memories and attachment. Extra cash vunte you invest in home improvement, get to enjoy and house value increases.

500k mortage ki Texas lo propery taxes tho 4k payment, single salary tho sahasamane cheppali ee time lo illu konatam

same house 2.5-3k ki rent ki vastundi, difference between rent and mortage is too high now

this is based on several factors that

  • you don't lose your job
  • even if you lose you find another one in a short time frame
  • you have no visa issues so if you do not find another job you need not go back to India
  • multiple income household etc

Close to 3% ki konnodu house ammatledhu.. andaru new houses meedha paddaru so house prices went up.. ippudu house prices thagginchali antey interest rate thagginchali.. Adhi thaggithey malli house prices will increase ..This is niranthara prakriya now.. Rents kuda thakkuva undatledhu.. 2bed 2bath almost 2k untundhi.. house prices will go up in near future due to drop in interest rates in next few years.. you’ll still make money..
