I think all of the leaders did many great things and some bad things, which I am sure they didn’t think it will be bad.. hindsight lo everyone thinks their decisions are for the country’s benefit.. Nehru ruled for 17 years and did it successfully given the constraints at that time.. we have to agree that he took a good decision and invested in science and technology given our low income and resources.. no need to stick to one issue and say all of it is bad!!! 
 

this is like blaming our grandfathers why they did something long long time ago!!
