Sorry about your situation. Hopefully you will find a job soon.

As per my knowledge, Grace period starts from last employment date. If your company is not going to have on payroll and do one time settlement, unfortunately it starts now.

Your  clock starts the next day after the day of termination. If you are terminated today your clock starts tomorrow. Your last pay check or last severence pay does not count.

Employer last pay chese date and last day of work may not be the same, companies pay on 15th and 1st usually

Your last working day is the day you got fired. Companies give a ginal payout check on the same day. So your 60 day period start from next day.

60 days start from last day of employment and NOT last day of paycheck.

But now you have options of looking into B1/B2 on 55th day or I-140EAD to continue your stay in US and look for jobs. Munde chusi pettuko bro.

Kontha mandi I-140 unna valu aiyte India elli poyi akkada ninchi job ettukuntunaru. Job vaste H1 apply chesi, visa eyinchukuni vastamu antunaru. Only disadvantage is on site interviews ki raleru.
