BJP’s No 2 and Union Home Minister, as well as other key figures from the party, participated in the ‘Raitu Gosa-BJP Bharosa’ gathering held in Khammam. The event saw the presence of Union Minister and Telangana BJP President, Kishan Reddy, alongside BJP National General Secretary, Bandi Sanjay. During the meeting, they voiced strong criticisms against the BRS government.

Bandi Sanjay employed satirical language to comment on Chief Minister KCR, suggesting humorously that KCR excels in deception, humorously referring to him as “Dubai Shekhar.” There were past claims that KCR changed his name to KTR due to not receiving a ticket from NTR, which Bandi Sanjay referenced with a touch of humor. Notably, Bandi Sanjay’s remarks regarding KCR’s supposed “peg” calculations have sparked attention within Telangana’s political sphere.

In his remarks, Bandi Sanjay humorously depicted that KCR’s responses are predictable: when KCR consumes one peg, he promises employment; with two pegs, he pledges double bedroom homes; at three pegs, he proposes three acres of land for Dalits; at four pegs, he emphasizes his concern for Dalit welfare; and at five pegs, he remains silent. This portrayal of KCR’s leadership prompted Bandi Sanjay to question the viability of supporting such a leader. He urged the public to rally behind a “double-engine government” for Telangana’s development, envisioning a prosperous future under the guidance of a ‘Ram Rajyam’ akin to ‘Modi Rajyam’.

Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy expressed strong discontent with the BRS government’s actions. He vented frustration at the government’s deceptive practices, especially the misuse of the term “loan waiver” to deceive farmers. Kishan Reddy accused the KCR administration of neglecting vital agricultural subsidies, causing significant harm to the farming sector. He highlighted the irony of the government discouraging paddy cultivation, a significant agricultural activity.

Kishan Reddy further criticized the BRS party as a family-driven entity and warned that supporting it indirectly benefits the Majlis party. He reminded the audience that Telangana Liberation Day had been celebrated under the leadership of Amit Shah, underlining the BJP’s commitment to the region’s welfare and growth.
