but veedu comedy actor anukunna. parley movie teesthunnadu. great aey

What Telugu movie needs is a lot of story tellers like Malayalam movies which are horror, suspense thrillers,Indie films, rooted films and so on, last 5-7 years have been encouraging

Jeetu Joseph lanti story teller every leru, Drisyam series is mind blowing, Drisyam 2 ayite next level gripping story telling

the best malayalam films are the ones that are least rooted.. have a universal appeal. but malayalies still suck at making a great urban movie. like Super Deluxe in Tamil.

Partly agree but their movie budgets are minuscule when compared to Telugu or Tamil industries.

learnt that DQ is paid something like 2crores for a movie and his movie budget doesn’t exceed 5 crores.

I search and watch every murder mystery and sci fi movie I can get my hands on.

I hope Telugu directors make a lot of such films. They are not good enough to make a truly great film like Angamaly Dairies, Churuli etc.

so lets just atleast have some fun movies.

I don't think Drisyam is a good movie, but it was a lot of fun. Telugu directors have to make such movies. yes.. I agree malayalies have much better writers, because they read. a lot.

our directors make movies based on movies that were made before them. They are not exploring the full canopy of human stories that can be made. Sukumar may be the exception. He probably reads a lot, but his movies don't have great writing. just above average for the telugu audience.

Naku telsi this is the last batch of super heros or hero worshippers.

content leka pote Chiranjeevi ayina kosi kurchobedutaru ippati audience.

90/2000’s directors andaru shed poyindru (like VV Vinayak, Puri, Surender Reddy, Srinivas Vytla etc.)

As per you which director will carry the torch forward in Tollywood?

My choice

Sukumar - Most talented director currently in TFI

Rajamouli - problem is he will make 1 movie every 3-5 years

Tharun Bascker - Talented but haven’t handled a mega budget movie yet, his movies have excellent camera work and color grading(check out his keeda cola trailer)

Sandeep Reddy - Might not make another direct Tollywood movie (all depends on how Animal goes)

Nag Ashwin - So far he proved his worth, polished and no nonsense film maker

Hanu Raghavapudi - Spellbound by Seeta Ramam

Sankalp Reddy - spellbound by Ghazi

Sujeeth - I used to love his work as short film maker, Sahoo was overwhelming for him but this guy is very talented

Koratala

Venu Yeldandi

Sukumar - Good now and at peak. I dont see him making same level movies going forward.

Rajamouli - Can present grandeur very well. Knows pulse, but commercial routine movies.

Nag ashwin - underrated. Will lead next wave of good directors.

Hanu - No way, Sita Ramam is a success of Nag's meddling.

Venu (Balagam) - Not sure. Showed his mettle with 1st movie. Need to see more. Can go either way

Prashanth Verma is more promising than directors like Sandeep Reddy who has only one hit. (I didn't even like Arjun Reddy, so my opinion is some what biased in a sense)

హీరోని interval bang లో ఏసేస్తారు

హీరోయిన్ యే murder చేసింది climax twist

ఎందుకు ఏసేసింది అనేది Part 2

ఇప్పుడు తీయండ్రా...

హీరోయిన్  సాయిపల్లవి / ప్రియాంక అరుల్ మోహన్ / రాశిఖన్నా అయితే కేకలు అంతే

actually nag ashwin is very much overrated.. teesina single movieki chala leputunnaru vaadini.. even that single movie half of the credit goes to late savitri.
