Yeah, why vendor is asking for I9? They will ask for the payroll for the hourly they are paying to the employer to make sure consultant is getting good rate. No vendor will ask for I9 and you can provide your employer I9 as long as you are working for the same employer on both projects (even though payroll is on your spouse name)

Covid time lo form I9 verification relax chesaru uscis vallu inperson raleru ani.. that relaxation expired now and uscis is asking to get i9 verified now those who submitted already..

My spouse took ft during that time and followed same, now asked for i9, i signed it saying verified the forms and submitted.. done deal...

Em issue avthadi ila chesthe, he was telling me that nothing will happen as mostly I9s are kept for the company's audit records and are not sent to USCIS unless specifially asked for them during an audit. Please throw some light bhayyas, he is on H1B. What is the issue that he is likely going to face ? Desi consultancy gadu cash ichadu ikkada.
