Many Indian actors and filmmakers are setting their sights on Hollywood, seeking global recognition.

Ranveer Singh recently joined the international agency William Morris Endeavor (WME), which represents global icons such as Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, Oprah, and Charlize Theron.

SS Rajamouli has also partnered with the American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for his upcoming project. And now, Allu Arjun has also revealed that there are plans to sign up with a Hollywood agent to widen his reach in the West

An ecstatic Allu Arjun, who is celebrating his Best Actor win at India’s National Film Awards for Pushpa: The Rise, recently gave an interview to Variety magazine to share his views about his win, on the way Telugu films are going global and his Hollywood plans.

Allu Arjun attributes the film’s triumph to its relatability and authentic storytelling, stating that staying true to their roots played a pivotal role. He stressed that ‘Going local is going global’ was the mantra for Pushpa’s success. Allu Arjun said that the global triumph of RRR has spurred India’s cinema industry to explore global markets. Its success inspired him to consider signing with a Hollywood agent.

He envisions a global spotlight on Indian cinema within a decade, paralleling the popularity of Korean dramas. Bunny said, “In less than ten years, Indian cinema will be viewed all over the world, like how Korean dramas have been watched all over the world.
