KCR’s behaviour has raised eyebrows due to its unpredictability. Observers are left guessing when he might make statements or take actions. The current concern centers around the deployment of survey teams to various constituencies to gauge public sentiment regarding the candidates.

The typical approach involves conducting surveys first and then revealing the candidates. However, KCR took a different path by announcing candidates and subsequently dispatching survey teams to assess public opinions.

A total of 20 teams reportedly have been dispatched to conduct surveys across all constituencies. The apprehension among candidates is growing, as negative feedback from these surveys could cast doubts on their prospects.

Approximately ten days prior, candidates for 119 and 115 constituencies were declared. These survey teams are tasked with gauging public perspectives on development initiatives, welfare scheme execution, programs like Dalit Bandhu and BC Bandhu, and the farmer loan waiver, all within each constituency.

Despite the government’s implementation of various programs and schemes, the survey teams aim to ascertain why certain ministers and incumbent MLAs aren’t receiving positive feedback. KCR has taken the decision to formulate specific strategies to secure constituencies based on the insights derived from these survey reports. Information from political parties suggests that around 35 constituencies are witnessing substantial opposition against the incumbent MLAs.
