In 60s Telangana  ethno racism used to operate in this way :

a) Calling andhras as "idli sambhar" - equating them with tamils - using slogans like "idli sambhar go back"

b) Pelting stones at passengers in vjw bound buses with slogans "bezawada bus andi netthi meedha dengandi". The word "andi" was seen as andhra yasa and these people used to mock at it. Note during that time there was no telangana yasa in any telugu movies.

c) Abusing them in urdu. Acting like since they know hindi/urdu they are closer to delhi power and andhras must know their place and live like baanchans. Again in 1960s there is no TDP or anything.

d) Only muslims in old city had class and saved many andhras during peak violence by langas. "andhra wale acche log" was their slogan.

Why this obsession with Telangana , they are already separated for 10 years now. 

Why do you people still keep insisting on living there if you think it's such an unwelcome place ?

For many Andhra people, it's difficult to imagine their state without a city like  Hyderabad . Making another city on par with Hyderabad is far from reality . So discussions will happen about past,  esp state bifurcation & how Congress was unfair , currently BJP in terms of SS etc

Telangana is history , it is done. It will never merge with Andhra again 

I never had any connection to Telangana, personally I feel it's the best thing to happen to current Andhra Pradesh. Instead of focusing only on Hyderabad other regions got some attention

If you are living anywhere in Andhra for the last 50 years , Hyderabad literally did nothing for you. The benefits you got from Hyderabad before partion are still the same after partition of the state 

You can't just create a city like that out of scratch , reality isn't a rajamouli film

Capital is nothing , it is just a tool for administrative convenience. It's not a cultural connection.Majority of people living in Andhra have no connection with Hyderabad at all 

Do you feel the same connection with Delhi ? I certainly don't . I feel the same way about Hyderabad
