Don’t worry slowly in a year or two people will appreciate and feel jealous that you have more flexibility being in a rental house … Memories are built in new home ani dialogues mast cheptaru … I grew up in own house and my friends in rental in Hyd , if we revisit,  our memories are mostly in sports, during college times, exams and less 5% tied to home !!

stop investing in place where your family may not enjoy, buy something for the family to enjoy here

may even as simple as townhome, dont read too much news about economy

in the last 3 yrs, investments in US grew more or similar compared to India

Verey vallu pressure chesthunnaru ani kaadhu. U have to be clear with what u want. Do u want to buy a home?

Digging past & trying to know what went wrong is totally useless. Lot of if & else conditions. You did what u thought is right.

if u serious about buying a home now, start with small one or one with in ur affordability. Interest rates are definitely going to go down but no one knows when.  When interest rates go down, prices may increase or stay stable based on inventory. So just sonething which u can afford assuming same interest rate for next 3-4 yrs

IMO . That’s on you DNA that you don’t take risk and don’t enjoy your life to full potential.

US lo GC unnnte 80-90k income unna household kuda 400k home afford cheyagaladu

GC Vacchaka kuda appartment lo unntu , kids peddollu eey intlo kelli college ki poinka kuda appartment lo unntu. Pellem happy ga lekunda em sadistav bro.. inko 20 years eeyte manam kuda potam..

may be your upbringing made you risk averse. happens to lot of people who see their parents losing on bad investments or making no investments.
