I do not understand all the definitions you mentioned here nor do I want to understand. Not my area of interest. All I know is that some people are different and I respect their choices. Its their life. I understand they are a part of society and I do treat them as any other people.

see the number of people who are intersex (not transgender) in the world is roughly equal to the number of native Telugu speakers, and yet there are US states that are writing laws to erase that group. Imagine saying no public bathrooms for Telugu speakers.. that's how ridiculous this anti trans bs is.

Now you are saying that you respect their choice - in some cases its not even their choice, but something they are born with, but you are siding with anti trans propaganda that schools are teaching kids to be trans.

if you actually treated them as any other people, you wouldn't be worried about schools teaching kids to be kinder to intersex and trans kids.

Its a boring subject for me. Doesn't interest.

My kids tell me what's going on in schools and sometimes it feels they are not comfortable these being thrown out and asking them to identify themselves. They say it was easy before as they would treat everyone same and call people by their names. Now they are confused with the whole He/Her/They and would rather not have conversations around them thinking they would hurt by saying something wrong.

so you are telling me that a 4th grade kid is forced to use he/her/they? really? and that it was easy before?? before when.. when the kid was even younger than that to realize what is happening around him? are you sure you are not projecting your own insecurities on to the kid?

I have no idea on US laws against Trans. Like I mentioned, its a topic which goes above my head. Not just this, US politics in general. I pay no attention to them as well.

Read my message again. Kids have always been kinder. But they are so confused with all the He/She/They conversations and binary/non-binary what not. They are worried they will offend someone. Of course being a parent I have to worry about them and what's going on.

I know you want to continue this topic. I don't. I have nothing more to say that what I already said.

I am comfortable being who I am and do a decent job parenting my kids. I let my kids be themselves in all ways and be independent, kind and humble.

Peace out my friend.

I always tell kids its fine to offend someone, if the cause is right. there's no need to be meek and accepting of everything foisted on you, but its an opportunity to make your case for what you believe and get peer reviewed in the process.

find the group that is accepting of you and repeat the process.

even otherwise, if the school goes overboard on enforcing this pronouns nonsense, you can always threaten to sue them, until they back down.

either way, you can't be a disinterested parent while dealing with this. You are going to hurt someone by mindlessly walking into situations you'll be forced into, if you remain non committal. something tells me, you are not non committal, and you'll take the republican trans bashing side within a blink of an eye when push comes to shove. because ideologically neutral people mostly choose the dark side when seriously pushed.

you made an offhand transphobic comment, and you want me to peace out? lmao.

the arrogance in the claim that you do a good job parenting kids, when you have zero interest in knowing what binary/non binary even means.

I don't want to continue this topic. I just want you to accept that you are transphobe and not make such bs comments on a topic that you are not sure about, and not even interested to know, based on your own insecurities.
